Security Solutions International (SSI) Signs Alliance with Saint Leo University to Provide Homeland Security Training in the US and Israel

Miami, FL (PRWeb) December 9, 2006 -- Security Solutions International (SSI), the US leading Homeland Security training company with more than 470 agencies trained in counter terror, has been chosen by prestigious Saint Leo University to provide a week-long special program of training in Saint Leo, FL, May 14 - 18, 2007. In addition, Saint Leo University will be sponsoring a special trip to Israel in October 2007. Students may earn either undergraduate or graduate credit hours for SSI programs upon completing additional academic research and paying University tuition costs.

Saint Leo University has been educating both active and aspiring criminal justice professionals for more than 30 years with class sizes small enough for innovative teaching and individualized attention. Undergraduate and graduate programs are based on the input of a diverse criminal justice advisory board that is designed to prepare students for careers and rapid advancement in the criminal justice system and related fields. Saint Leo has recently added specializations in Criminalistics, Homeland Security and Emergency Management. The University has been educating students since 1889.

"We recently attended a week long training organized by SSI and were impressed with the quality of their programs. SSI has a very strong reputation for counter terror training among Law Enforcement across the country and we felt they could contribute to our already strong commitment in this field," says Professor Barry Glover of the Criminal Justice Department.
