National One Million Dollar Essay Contest Kicks off at YourMillionDollarEssay.com

The Chicago Park District has joined with the Consortium to Lower Obesity in Chicago Children (CLOCC) to analyze an after-school program to find out the physical activity levels of the children in the program. They used observation methods and activity monitors to determine activity level and found that the children are getting approximately half of the recommended daily amount of activity.
