Idaho Dept of Finance Approves ProSchools as Education Provider for Mortgage Education
Portland, Oregon (PRWEB) June 25, 2008 -- ProSchools, a national provider of mortgage education, has received approval in Idaho for four continuing education courses, including the required 2 hour of Ethics and 2 hour of Idaho Residential Mortgage Practices Act.
ProSchools' comprehensive mortgage education courses are designed to meet the Idaho continuing education requirements. Courses cover Idaho mortgage lending laws, ethics and update, credit scoring, TILA, and Federal Mortgage Lending Laws.
Idaho mortgage loan originators and Qualified Person in Charge (QPIC) are required to complete 16 hours of continuing education within each reporting period, including 2 hours specifically related to the Idaho Residential Mortgage Practices Act, and 2 credit hours of Ethics.
ProSchools continuing education focuses on RESPA, TILA, ECOA, compliance issues, predatory lending, and deceptive trade practices, and Idaho Mortgage Lending Laws, Ethics & Update. The ethics training deals with the usage and customs among members of the mortgage lending industry involving moral and professional duties.
