The American College Alumni Hall of Fame Now Accepting Nominations
Bry Mawr, PA (PRWEB) March 13, 2008 -- One of the financial services industry's most prestigious and revered educational institutions is once again preparing to honor worthy alumni.
The American College is accepting nominations for induction into the institution's Alumni Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony is an annual event designed to recognize graduates of The College's designation or degree programs who have made extraordinary contributions in time, effort, and energy to this remarkable institution of higher learning.
"The Alumni Association is the fastest growing member organization in the industry, without exception," notes Russ Figueira, MSM, VP of Human Capital and Alumni Relations. "We expect to reach 26,000 members around April 1, and we had just one thousand members two years ago." "We hope that our Alumni will take the time to nominate individuals that show loyalty and dedication to making The American College the nation's premier financial services educator."
In order to qualify for the induction into The American College Alumni Hall of Fame individuals must have graduated from at least one of The College's world-renowned designation or degree programs. In addition, individuals must be long-term volunteers of The College and active participants in its community and learning environment.
Nomination forms can be downloaded from The American College Alumni Association website at http://www.TheAmericanCollege.OnlineCommunity.com All nominations must arrive at The College by June 30, 2008 to be considered.
Completed nomination forms can be mailed to Adam Batchelor, c/o The American College, Alumni Relations Office, 270 South Bryn Mawr Avenue, Bryn Mawr, Pa. 19010. They can also be faxed to Batchelor's attention at 610-526-1310.
Individuals can nominate themselves or be nominated by others. A committee of past Alumni Hall of Fame inductees, along with President of The Association, Salvatore F. Farina, MSM, CLU®, ChFC®, CLF®, will review the forms. Being nominated previously doesn't exclude individuals from consideration in 2008.
The announcement recognizing the award recipient(s) will be made prior to The American College's 2008 Knowledge Summit, where the 2008 inductee(s) will be honored during the Alumni Hall of Fame Luncheon on Thursday, November 20th in Waikiki, Hawaii. Following the ceremony, inductees into the Hall of Fame will have their names permanently inscribed on a large plaque in The College's main administrative building, MDRT Foundation Hall, in Bryn Mawr, Pa. An inductee's name will be displayed in perpetuity along with his or her photo and biography featured prominently until the next class of individuals is inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame.
