One-Year Sustainable MBA Program at Duquesne University Ranked 8th in Aspen Institute's Global 100

Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) March 11, 2008 -- Duquesne University has been ranked No. 1 among schools of its size and No. 8 overall on the Aspen Institute's Global Top 100 Business Schools List, which evaluates leadership in integrating social and environmental issues into Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs.

Duquesne University launched its Sustainable MBA program in 2007. The 1-year, full-time, destination-quality MBA is anchored by global study trips and live corporate projects.

Duquesne's Sustainable MBA program integrates sustainability into the entire curriculum rather than using a piecemeal approach. Hands-on field projects and other experiences with local and international companies are an important part of the program.

Beyond Grey Pinstripes is a biennial survey and ranking of 600 internationally accredited business schools. Its mission is to spotlight innovative, full-time MBA programs that integrate issues of social and environmental stewardship deep into curricula and research.
