San Jacinto College District Joins Capella University's Education Alliance Program
Houston, TX (PRWEB) February 6, 2008 -- San Jacinto College District, located near Houston, has joined Capella University's Education Alliance Program. Capella (www.capella.edu), an accredited*, fully online university that serves more than 20,000 students, offers a broad selection of online degree programs focused on higher education faculty, administrators and students.
San Jacinto College serves approximately 25,500 students and works closely with neighboring school districts to help students proceed from high school to college through tech-prep initiatives, dual-credit programs, and an early college high school.
The San Jacinto College District serves a population of more than 360,000 in communities in East Harris County. Ten community colleges in Texas have similar educational agreements with Capella.
