Ashland University Now Offering Graduate Credits for InfoSource Learning 'How To Master' Online Training Courses
Winter Park, FL (PRWEB) August 9, 2007 -- InfoSource Learning, a leader in self-paced Web-based training solutions, announced today that effective immediately, Ashland University in Ashland, OH will be offering graduate credits to educators upon completion of InfoSource Learning's "How To Master" online training courses. With this announcement, educators in school districts offering InfoSource Learning's "How To Master" online training solution are now eligible to receive graduate-level credits from Ashland University for completed coursework. Ashland has also agreed to work closely with technology coordinators and facilitators in those districts to validate the completion of all coursework. For districts where funding may be a concern, "eTech Ohio" funds can be used to aid in subsidizing the cost of a "How To Master" Learning Management System.
InfoSource Learning's "How To Master" online training libraries cover areas such as basic PC literacy for educators, teacher professional development skills, and classroom technology integration skills. The courseware features a content-rich environment of interactive, self-paced learning and testing, built on the premise that people "learn-by-doing." By training in simulated software environments, learners gain experience, retain information, and increase productivity.
Larry Pfrogner, Ashland University's Director of Professional Development Services, said, "We are pleased to partner with InfoSource Learning as we grow our resources to help teachers grow professionally. With this partnership, any school district using InfoSource Learning's 'How To Master' online training solution will now also be offering educators in their district a way to earn graduate credits from Ashland University. This partnership is a perfect fit for us and truly represents our 'Accent on the Individual' philosophy at Ashland University."
Tom Dalton, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at InfoSource Learning, said "We are pleased that Ashland University has recognized the quality of our technology training for educators by approving our courseware for graduate credits. Receiving graduate credits for technology training is a remarkable way for Ohio educators to take their professional development training to the next level."
