Knowledge Factor and New England Organ Bank's Tissue Donor Eligibility Course Now Accepted for Continuing Education Credits
Denver, CO (PRWeb) March 12, 2007 -- Knowledge Factor, the leader in Confidence-Based Learning™, today announced that the Tissue Donor Eligibility course developed in conjunction with New England Organ Bank (NEOB) has been approved by the American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB) as an accepted course for Continuing Education Units (CEUs). NEOB's Tissue Donor Eligibility course was deemed sufficient to qualify for 10.89 CEUs based on the quality of the learning experience and the time normally spent taking the course.
AATB Certified Tissue Banking Specialists are required to obtain 40 AATB-approved CEUs within each three-year accreditation period in order to maintain their certification.

The Tissue Donor Eligibility course is designed to provide an overview of the relevant FDA regulations in effect as of May 25, 2005, the 2006 11th Edition AATB standards, and industry practices required for the performance of functions related to Tissue Donor Eligibility.
