Deciding on what activities you'd like to participate in during your vacation will help you to pack the proper clothing and accessories. There's no point taking a suitcase full of sweaters if you plan to spend every waking moment in the pool at the mountain resort you'll be visiting.

Be aware that, if you're traveling out of the country, you may need a passport. It's always smart to carry identification with at least two phone numbers of people to contact in case of an emergency.
