Fair Wind Sailing School Launches New Sailing Base on Chesapeake Bay

With this move, Fair Wind Sailing School will be able to provide fast and convenient access to the open waters of the Chesapeake. Fair Wind's Chesapeake Bay sailing school will be located near the mouth of Worton Creek at Green Point Marina. "Green Point Marina provides the perfect location for us," said Bello. From Worton Creek, Fair Wind Sailing School will offer its Instant Bareboater sailing lessons. This class teaches ASA 101, 103 and 104 in a week-long, live-aboard setting and is perfect sailing instruction for those preparing to bareboat charter or buy a boat. Fair Wind will also teach its Instant Cruiser course - a weekend, live-aboard class covering the material in ASA 101 and 103, as well as offer all of its vessels for both captained and bareboat charters.
